Theme: Democratic Roleplay — the community helps vote on laws, rules, features, and direction.
Setting: A newly formed city with a clean slate — no legacy corruption, no pre-established hierarchy.

• Event Hosting Tools: Allow DJs, bars, wedding planners, and others to run immersive RP events.

• Community-Approved Rulebook: Players suggest and vote on major rule changes.
• Roleplay Review Council: Player-selected volunteers to review reports and maintain RP quality (in coordination with admins).

Founded in 2007, RedRiver RP is one of the oldest and most respected names in the roleplaying scene. Our roots trace back to the golden era of San Andreas Multiplayer (SA-MP), where we helped pioneer immersive roleplay experiences at a time when online RP was still finding its footing.

Originally a close-knit group of passionate roleplayers, RedRiver quickly grew into a thriving community of storytellers, gamers, and developers. Many of our founding members were also a part of ARP — Advanced Role Players, a renowned group known for setting high standards of realism and narrative-driven gameplay during the early days of multiplayer RP.

Over the years, we've evolved with the times — from SA-MP to GTA IV, GTA V, and now FiveM — continuing to focus on what truly matters: authentic, character-driven stories and a welcoming community. At RedRiver RP, we believe in community-built experiences, realism without elitism, and always leaving space for creativity and fun.

Community Rules

📜 General Rules

1. Respect Everyone – Treat all members and staff with respect. Discrimination, harassment, or toxicity will not be tolerated.
2. No Meta Gaming – Do not use information gained outside of RP (Discord, Twitch, etc.) in-character.
3. No Power Gaming – Do not force actions on others or perform superhuman actions. RP must be fair and believable.
4. No RDM/VDM – Random Deathmatch or Vehicle Deathmatch is strictly prohibited.
5. Age Requirement – You must be 16+ to play on Red River RP.
6. Voice Changers – Only permitted with approval. Trolling with voice changers is not allowed.
7. Common Sense – If it feels like it breaks the spirit of RP, don’t do it.

🎭 Roleplay Standards

1. Stay In Character (IC) – You must stay in character at all times unless in a green zone or directed otherwise.
2. Fear RP – Show fear for your life when appropriate (e.g., outnumbered or at gunpoint).
3. Value of Life – Treat your character’s life as if it were your own. No throwing it away for no reason.
4. Character Names – Use realistic names. No meme names or celebrity imitations.
5. No Cop Baiting – Don’t provoke police with the intent to cause a chase or gunfight without solid RP reason.
6. Robbery Limits – Respect cooldowns, max take limits, and must involve strong RP buildup.

🚓 Police & EMS Rules

1. Obey LEO Commands – Comply when being detained or arrested unless there is an RP reason not to.
2. EMS Are Neutral – Do not harm or involve EMS in criminal RP unless they insert themselves willingly.
3. No Unrealistic Escapes – Don’t abuse game mechanics to escape police (e.g., glitching, log outs).
4. No stealing emergency vehicles.

💼 Criminal RP

1. Hostage RP – Must be serious and roleplayed well. You need 2+ cops for bank jobs and hostages must be real players.
2. Torture RP – Not allowed without explicit OOC consent from the other player.
3. Rape RP - 100% Not allowed.
4. Perma-Death – Only allowed with admin approval and consent from the affected player.
5. Heist Rules – Follow cooldowns and limitations set by staff.

🏙️ Civilian RP

1. Business RP – Any business or civilian RP must be immersive and reasonable. Random trolling is not allowed.
2. Driving – Excessive speeding, off-road supercars, and reckless driving without RP reason is prohibited.
3. Job Exploits – Don’t exploit jobs for fast money or items.

🌐 OOC Rules

1. No Combat Logging – Logging out to avoid RP, death, or police interaction is forbidden.
2. AFK Farming – Using macros or leaving the game running to earn money or resources is not allowed.
3. Modding/Cheating – Use of cheats, injectors, or external software is instant perma-ban.

🛑 Staff Team Rules

1. Staff Have Final Say – Disrespecting or arguing with staff decisions in public may result in punishment.
2. Staff RP – Staff on duty are not part of active RP unless stated.
3. Appeals & Reports – Use the proper channels for player reports and ban appeals. Do Not go to a staff member.

✅ Green Zones

1. Green zones are safe zones (e.g., hospitals, job centers, etc.) where hostile RP is not allowed.
2. No robbing, killing, or hostile threats in green zones.

📢 Final Notes

1. These rules are subject to change at any time. It is your responsibility to stay updated.
2. Repeated or extreme violations may result in a permanent ban, even without warnings.
3. If you’re ever unsure, open a ticket and ask staff.
